Terms of Use
A plain-language overview of the terms that apply when you use the Chaperone Health website and services. These terms exist to keep the experience safe, respectful, and dependable for everyone.
By using this website or the Chaperone Health services, you agree to the terms summarized below. This is a plain-language summary; our full Terms of Use are being finalized and will govern in case of any difference from this summary. Where services are delivered through an organization, additional agreements with that organization may also apply.
1. Acceptable use
We ask that you use Chaperone in good faith: to seek or provide support, to run programs responsibly, and to treat others with care. Misuse, including harassment, attempts to disrupt the service, or using it in ways that could harm others, is not permitted.
2. What Chaperone is and isn’t
Chaperone provides peer-first behavioral health support and care navigation. Peer support is not therapy, clinical treatment, diagnosis, or crisis counseling, and it does not replace professional or emergency care. If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. See our safety and escalation approach for how we connect people to the right help.
3. Accounts and access
Some features require an account, often provided through an organization. You are responsible for keeping your access credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account.
4. Intellectual property
The Chaperone name, brand, content, and software are protected and may not be copied or reused without permission, except as the final terms allow.
5. Disclaimers and limits
The website and services are provided on an as-is basis to the extent permitted by law. The final terms will describe warranty disclaimers, limitations of liability, and how disputes are handled. For details on our controls and assurances, visit the Trust center.
